Sky Television will screen live coverage of the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ NYC finals clash against St George Illawarra at WIN Jubilee Oval tomorrow (Sunday).

The Vodafone Junior Warriors, who were just seconds away from making the inaugural NYC grand final last year, finished the 2009 regular season in seventh place, earning them an away qualifying final against the second-ranked Dragons.
The build-up to the match will start on Sky Sport 2 at 3.30pm tomorrow (New Zealand time) with the game – the curtain-raiser to the St George Illawarra-Parramatta NRL play-off – due to kick off at 3.45pm (New Zealand time).
The Vodafone Junior Warriors welcome back prolific try-scoring winger Bill Tupou and captain Elijah Taylor, who have both been troubled by injury recently.
Taylor was set to make his NRL debut for the Vodafone Warriors last month only to be cruelly denied after picking up a hamstring injury in a training session.
Tupou (20) has maintained a stunning strike rate in his two seasons of NYC football.
Heading into tomorrow's match, he has scored 28 tries in 36 games, 14 of them in 17 appearances this season.
While he’s back on the wing, Taylor is named at loose forward in a side that remains largely unchanged from the one that lost 44-46 in last Saturday's final regular season outing against Melbourne.
Also boasting an impressive try-scoring strike rate is centre Thomas Ah Van, who has 22 touchdowns in 29 matches overall, 12 in 15 games this year.
Halfback Shaun Johnson comes up against St George Illawarra’s Beau Henry, who was named at halfback in the NYC Team of the Year and also won the Dally M NYC Player of the Year award this week.
Johnson has amassed 229 points so far in his debut NYC season, scoring 17 tries – top try scorer for the team – and also kicking 80 goals and a field goal. He has the chance tomorrow to boost his try assists tally to 50 – he’s the competition leader with 47 so far and he also features prominently in the line breaks category.
Johnson and his halves partner Kurt Kara are the only players who have been ever-present in the Vodafone Junior Warriors’ 24 games so far this year.
While Kevin Locke, Ben Matulino and Russell Packer appeared for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in regular season matches during the season, they’re ineligible for the finals series on the basis of the number of NRL games they’ve played this year.

Good one, i'll be able to park up this afternoon and watch the game, although i don't fancy their chances against the dragons, at least they went further into the season than their senior mates.
