Hunslet 40-12 Gateshead Sunday 28th February 2010 McHugh shines in Hunslet victory Wayne McHugh scored 16 points as Hunslet claimed a 40-12 victory over Gateshead. McHugh had a try and six goals, while there was a double from Stuart Kain and tries from Steve Dooler, David March, Paul March and Michael Mark. Gateshead did not get off the mark until the second half, when Liam Duffy and Joe Brown crossed. Swinton 20-38 Oldham Sunday 28th February 2010 Onyango grabs hat-trick for Oldham Oldham claimed a 38-20 Co-operative Championship One victory at Swinton after pulling away in the second half. Oldham held a 16-14 lead at half-time thanks to Lucas Onyango's two tries and one from Paul O'Connor, then dominated the second period as Onyango completed his hat-trick and Martin Roden, Wayne Kerr and Joe Chandler crossed. David Hull, Lee Wingfield, Phil Joseph and Tommy Grundy touched down for Swinton. York 36-8 London Skolars Sunday 28th February 2010 Waterman shines in Skolars trouncing Lee Waterman was in inspired form as York claimed a 36-8 victory over London Skolars. Waterman racked up 20 points through two tries and six goals, while Brett Waller, Danny Ratcliffe, Paul Stamp and Jonathan Schofield also crossed. Jason Cook and Matt Thomas each scored a try for the Skolars' only points. Rochdale 56-24 Doncaster Sunday 28th February 2010 Rochdale hammer Doncaster Rochdale steamrollered Doncaster in the first half of their Co-operative Championship One clash before easing to a 56-24 win. The South Yorkshire side were 30-6 ahead at the interval thanks to tries from Danny Samuels, Dayne Donoghue (two), Wayne English, Craig Johnson and Bolu Fagborun. After the break, Bolu Fagborun, Paul Raftery, Dean Gorton (two) and Steven Roper heaped further misery upon Doncaster, who themselves had two tries apiece from Grant Edwards and Jack Ely. |
