Saturday 13th March 2010 Whitehaven make winning start Whitehaven opened their Co-operative Championship campaign with a 34-20 victory over Toulouse at the Recreation Ground. The French visitors held a 20-10 lead at the break thanks to tries from Rory Bromley, Antoni Maria, Bruno Ormeno and Sebastien Planas and four points from the boot of Nathan Wynn. Dylan Skee and Carl Rudd had crossed for the home side who hit back after the break as Carl Sice (2), Reece Fox and Ian Mort all bagged tries. Link |
