Hull KR Head Coach Justin Morgan has challenged his side to learn the lessons from their defeat to Wakefield and become a stronger side for it...
Morgan was angry with his side's second half display against a rejuvenated Wildcats, and has challenged his players both individually and collectively to learn from the defeat.

"At the moment I'm very bitter and finding it very hard to swallow," said Morgan after the game.

"It's a long hard season and we have to make sure that a positive comes out of this."

"We need to make sure that in the long run that when we reflect on this it's a good positive lesson for us. Only the future will dictate whether we make it a positive."

"I've said before that the good thing about our sport is that you get the chance to put it right next week."

"If you're an Olympic athlete and you make a mistake you've got to wait four years but in our game we can jump back on the horse straight away."

Morgan praised Josh Hodgson, as the young hooker made his first competitive appearance in a Rovers shirt after joining from Hull FC in the close season.

"He's one for the future. We've got a few good youngsters amongst us at the moment and Josh is one of them."

"He's waited for his time and I thought his first stint was nice and solid and defensively very sound."

"He's only going to get better with experience. Young players have to play and you expect some highs and lows from them because of their age but I thought it was a nice positive start for Josh."

"I'm really upset that we've let him down. The kid wants to remember the first game for his club with a victory and we've let him down."

Hodgson and the rest of the Robins will be looking to bounce back straight away against Leeds Rhinos next Friday night, and you can be there by buying your ticket from www.hullkrsuperstore.co.uk or in store now. Link
