WOLVES' half back Lee Briers will miss Friday's derby clash with St Helens after failing a fitness test. The influential playmaker injured his ankle ligaments against Wigan at the Halliwell Jones Stadium almost a month ago. Young gun Lee Mitchell has returned from dual registration club Leigh Centurions and has taken Brier's place in the squad. Fullback Richie Mathers is included after missing the past two games with a groin strain. Warrington Wolves squad to face St Helens: Louis Anderson, Vinnie Anderson, Ryan Atkins, Chris Bridge, Garreth Carvell, Simon Grix, Ben Harrison, Chris Hicks, Mickey Higham, Matt King, Richie Mathers, Lee Mitchell, Michael Monaghan, Adrian Morley, Richie Myler, Chris Riley, David Solomona, Ben Westwood, Paul Wood |
