Try ace Amos Roberts’ suspected broken leg took the edge off a rampant Wigan display which keeps them on top of the league.

The Australian full-back collided with a post just before the interval as he went in for his second try of the game and his 12th of the season. He could be out for three months.

Warriors coach Michael Maguire said: “Amos has gone straight to hospital – it’s a suspected break.

“It’s a real shame because he has been outstanding for us this season. Everybody was cheering after he scored such a great try but then it turned to silence.”
