![]() Jones-Bishop will return to Leeds Rhinos at the end of his season-long Injured Harlequins full-back Ben Jones-Bishop is to undergo corrective surgery on his fractured skull. The 21-year-old is expected to miss six weeks after suffering a depression fracture between his eyebrows in a clash of heads against Wigan. He told the BBC London's Rugby League programme: "It's where your sinuses are, it's like an air pocket, so it's just dented in. "They'll just have to push it back out, screw it together and I'm good to go." Jones-Bishop added: "It's a bit sore, [but] it's not as bad as first thought. "Where I've fractured it is quite a safe area so not looking at that long for recovery. Harlequins physio John Miles says the surgery will involve making an incision to 'un-depress' the affected area, then put a bit of metalwork in to keep it in place. He will then rest for a week before returning to non-contact training and should be fit to play in six weeks. news.bbc.co.uk |
