COWBOYS forward Willie Mason has declared disgraced premiers Melbourne Storm would
not lose another game this year in a stark warning to their next "victims", the Brisbane Broncos.

Mason said it was "scary" what the Storm were capable of achieving and Saturday night's 34-6
win over the Cowboys in Townsville was just the tip of the iceberg, with many more big scores
to come as their players warmed to a new carefree style.

He said the Broncos faced an enormous task in Melbourne on Sunday as the Storm prepare to
christen their new home at AAMI Park, with a 31,000 sellout almost guaranteed.

Injury-hit Brisbane have won just two from eight games this year and ever since their shock 15-8
win over Melbourne in the 2006 grand final the Storm have taken special pleasure in beating the
Broncos.

"I have been in a position where you don't care and it probably brings the best football out in you,"
Mason said in reference to the Bulldogs' relegation to last place in 2002 for salary cap breaches.
"There's no pressure, no shackles, you don't have to win. It doesn't matter.

"To do that to a team like Melbourne ... they will towel every team up. Take the shackles off Inglis,
Cronk, Slater - they're seriously going to carve teams up. It's scary.

"I had a chat to [Storm coach] Craig Bellamy last night and all he told his team was go out there

and play football, because they are a grouse football team.

"I don't reckon they'll get beat. It's scary. They have such a talented side and the guys don't care.
They'll beat everyone."

Cowboys skipper Johnathan Thurston agreed with Mason's assessment.

"They're just going to enjoy their footy, and that's when they're at their most dangerous, when they're
playing free-flowing footy," he said. "Give them room and they will put points on you."

Storm coach Craig Bellamy admitted it had been a conscious decision to change the team's style of
play in the wake of their salary cap dramas.

"I have probably eased things off a bit and the players are enjoying the change," Bellamy said. "We
can't play for competition points so we want the players to enjoy playing, to express themselves a bit
more."

Mason, who was chosen in the Country Origin side yesterday, said he was looking forward to playing
against his former club the Roosters in Sydney next Monday.

"It will be hard backing up after the rep stuff," he said.

"I'd like to roll into a fresh week against the Roosters. We had a pretty bad year last year, but we're
pretty tight mates.

"Still, there's no mates on the field when you're wearing opposite jerseys, and I'll be pumped to play
them, that's for sure. It will be interesting.

"But I don't feel the same pressure as I did when I played for the Roosters against the Bulldogs
for the first time.

"There would never be a hype like that.

"Sonny Bill Williams there, me at the Roosters ... I didn't leave the Roosters on bad terms, not with the players or fans."

Unfortunately I agree. Storm have annihilated the Warriors and Cowboys so far.
Broncos game could get embarrassing.

I wouldn't like to see it happen, i would have prefered it if the storm had went down to the warriors and the cowboys, and then lost every other match for the rest of the season.

Every team should boycott the game when they play Melbourne. Maybe that would get them to reduce their roster.

That sounds good, but i'll bet that the NRL would penalise any team that refused to play the storm, but it would be interesting to see it happen.
