The ninth-placed Broncos must beat the second-ranked Warriorsat Mount Smart Stadium on Friday night to have any hope of qualifying for the NYC finals. But they have received a blow this week, with strong replacement forward Mitchell Frei suspended for a dangerous contact charge. In addition back-up utility Tennyson Elliott is out after hurting his ankle in a non-football related accident. Coach Matthew Wood has named an 18-man squad, with either Faulkner, Adams or Setu - all props - likely to miss out. Broncos NYC team to play New Zealand Warriors NYC at Mount Smart Stadium, Friday August 27 at 5.45pm: 1. Dane Gagai 2. Max Dudley 3. Jordan Kahu 4. Aaron Whitchurch 5. Lachlan Maranta 6.
