ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE Venue: The Willows Date: Sunday, 5 September Kick-off: 1500 BST Coverage:BBC Radio Leeds; Score updates on BBC Radio 5 Live & the BBC Sport website; highlights on the Super League Show Salford v Wakefield Long-serving Stuart Littler will lead Salford out on his farewell appearance, while former St Helens centre Willie Talau will retire after the match. Hooker Malcolm Alker and full-back Karl Fitzpatrick both miss out on farewell appearances after succumbing to injury. Wakefield will be without prop Charlie Leano, who has a knee injury, and Paul Johnson (hamstring). But Danny Kirmond returns from his loan spell at Huddersfield and Matt Blaymire is back after a three-match absence. Wakefield skipper Jason Demetriou is another playing his last game, while hooker Tevita Leo-Latu makes his final appearance against the team he is joining for 2011. Wakefield have lost their last five games to miss out on the play-offs, shipping 232 points in the process. But they are keen to end the season on a high by completing the double over a Salford side they beat 36-6 at Belle Vue back in March. Wakefield Wildcats coach John Kear told BBC Radio Leeds: "Confidence is a very fragile thing. You can restore it in a very short period of time with a couple of good tries but you can also get it blasted apart. "We are a little fragile mentally but instead of collapsing under adversity, we're happy to embrace it, look it in the eye and overcome it. "We need to go there and play with enthusiasm, play with a love of the game and with the passion of the red, white and blue."
