Kiwis skipper Benji Marshall is enjoying playing in the NRL finals for the first time since the Wests Tigers won the premiership in 2005. Kiwis captain Benji Marshall feels like a new man getting ready for finals footy and bypassing the traditional mad Monday celebrations. Marshall hasn't tasted September footy, since the Tigers went all the way in 2005. As you'd expect he's loving being back in the spotlight. Marshall says it's exciting to be back in front of the cameras and the fans. The Tigers take on the Roosters in week one of the playoffs. Marshall's paying tribute to his opposite Todd Carney, who's completed a remarkable return to the NRL, winning Dally M player of the year. www.radiosport.co.nz Have your say, click here to register |
