Yep, tis a time of year that is full of commercialism, and pretence, getting on with people that you don't like, buying presents for people you never see at any other time of the year.. Christmas might have meant something once, but not now. |

Hehehe, you're missing out on some quality cricket then, the poms have been awesome this tour, especially cook, a run scoring machine. |

Thanks for reminding me Cook has been incredible. Over 700 runs in the series. Often only batting in 1 innings per match. Reminds me of Tubby Taylor's 839 in England in 1989. There were 6 tests in that series though so there's not much between them. |

I think that cook has moved into second on the all time scoring lists for ashes series in aus, i didn't quite pick it up, but i think it also said that len hutton was first, and that he had scored over 900 runs in a series?? Dunno how many tests that was, but if it was 5, that's some pretty freakin' awesome scoring stats. |

Don't know how many tests it would have been. Could have been 6. And it was probably 8 ball overs too. The reaction over here is downright laughable. No one is taking responsibility for anything. THe selectors think they are doing a good job. CA says the coach is doing a good job. The players reckon they have the talent in the team. So apparently no-one has done anything wrong and we were just outplayed. I fear for the future

Well, couldn't hurt, i reckon that one of our main problems is that we don't play enough cricket, so having one or two of our teams in your comp would be a good thing to have... |
